“Moving from Houston, TX. to Portland was a big change for me. I figured that an easy way to make friends was to join an organization on campus. I knew that I wanted to join a sorority and I came across KDChi on Instagram. The fact that KDChi was Latina-based, both academic and service focused was the reason I had my heart set on KDChi. For me what I gained are sisters across the United States. It’s cool knowing that I have someone I’m connected to by sharing just one small interest and that’s being a part of a sisterhood.”
